Are you testing your emergency response plan enough?

If you are required to have an emergency response plan (ERP) under the hazardous substances regulations, you need to test your plan with regard to all emergencies at least once every year.

In addition, if there is a change to a person, procedure or action mentioned in the plan, you need to re-test it within 3 months of that change.

You can use our HSNO Emergency Response Testing Checklist to make sure you've tested everything you need to.
