Dwayne has been with Chemsafety since 2013 and during that time he has become the main presenter of the certified handler and chemical awareness courses. He is approved by WorkSafe NZ as a Compliance Certifier for Certified Handlers and develops site specific chemical awareness training for a range of industries.

Dwayne takes pride in taking the technical information that’s within the Regulations and breaking them down so that they’re easy to understand for the PCBU and workers. By talking to our clients before running a training course, be that a certified handler course or a chemical awareness course, Dwayne can take what our clients have on site and customise his training sessions to that. That way your team learn about what they have on site, how to handle and store the chemicals and what to do in an emergency situation.

Dwayne has also been an integral team player within the asbestos team undertaking bulk asbestos sampling, asbestos surveys, and providing asbestos clearance certification. Dwayne has also become a qualified respirator fit tester for both Qualitative and Quantitative methods.
