Client Story

Efficient and Safe

One of our clients were removing 20,000 square metres of friable asbestos attached to non-friable asbestos material which was scheduled to be removed. Regulations stated that the Class A material had to be removed within an enclosure, however this proved impossible. With discussions with the client, the Chemsafety asbestos team were able to come up with a strategy involving personal and environmental monitoring approved by WorkSafe NZ to allow the removal to be conducted that was both time and cost effective and ensured worker safety.
