Client Story

There to help

Our clients were demolishing multiple large industrial complexes in a remote area on the South Island’s West Coast over an extended time frame. Before demolition began we provided the client with the appropriate asbestos surveys detailing where all the asbestos containing materials was located. This enabled the demolition contractor to proceed with the demolition in a safe & efficient manner, whilst keeping within legislative framework.

While the demolition was in progress we routinely travelled from Christchurch to undertake surveillance monitoring and clearance inspections to ensure that the demolition works and general environment remained safe from asbestos fibres. With a licensed Asbestos Assessor onsite regularly, the client and removalist were able to have expert advice available as and when they needed it. This meant the works were delivered ahead of schedule. The client also had confidence that the work being undertaken was to the required standard.
